“DualPore™” is a new porous material (patented) with a unique 3D structure. Our first applied material, “DualPore™ Silica,” enhances hydrodynamic performance with 2-tiered pores of “through holes + pores”.
Put in perspective; a standard 25m pool holds 500 tons of water. Assuming 1ppm concentration of palladium remains in this water, a full pool contains 500g of palladium.
Using the DualPore™ Palladium Recovery Cartridge, from 500 tons of water containing palladium, 500g of palladium can be concentrated and recovered in about 10 small recovery cartridges.
The recovered palladium becomes a palladium metal through further refining processes and can be recycled.
By supporting various metal catalysts on DualPore™, it is also possible to create heterogeneous catalysts with low pressure loss and high catalytic performance, especially under the flow cycle.
