Our Philosophy and Guidelines for Action
We strive to respond to global issues by enabling the efficient recycling of precious and rare metals through adsorption, separation, and recovery of residual metals using DualPore™.
Until now, corporate philosophy has prioritized advancing the quality of life in areas including convenience, daily life, and medical welfare. In recent years, however, the increasing consumption of limited resources and its environmental impact have emerged as harmful side effects, and now pose a crisis to human existence. Minimizing damage to the environment is becoming the globally recognized, required standard in many industries, and has been enacted through policies like the SDGs.
Highly efficient technology that can also deliver high performance is indispensable to maintain high production value and reduce the burden on the environment in all future sectors. By applying our proprietary DualPore™ technology, we believe that it is possible to meet the many needs related to the adsorption, separation, and recovery of trace metals and substances in a more advanced and efficient manner.
A development-oriented company specializing in one-of-a-kind special technologies, the solutions we provide are in our company name, DPS Inc., which stands for Dual Pore Solution. We emphasize the flexible use of our core technology, DualPore™, as a tool and solution to tackle climate change and the various social issues that come with it.

| January 2018 | Seed financing (procured 29 million yen). |
| December 2017 | Established DPS Co., Ltd.* Licensed DualPore™ particle-related patents and technology from SNG Co., Ltd., and started product development, manufacturing, and sales activities using DualPore™ particles. |
| 2013 | SnG Co., Ltd. is established, and various intellectual property rights acquired to further explore the development of large monoliths to particle formation technology. |
| 2007 | The predecessor REI Medical Co., Ltd. develops a high-performance apheresis adsorption column (therapeutic device involving extracorporeal blood circulation). Through this project, full-scale development of large-scale monolith manufacturing technology, which is the root of DualPore™ technology, goes underway. Received CE Mark and ISO13485 certification in 2012 due to the successful establishment of a mass production system with quality assurance and confirmed product safety. |

* DPS Co., Ltd. is a development-oriented company specializing in one-of-a-kind special technologies based on the monolithic porous material technology that uses the “sol-gel process accompanied by phase separation” invented by our advisor Kazuki Nakanishi (professor at Nagoya University and specially appointed professor at Kyoto University). Established in 2017 for the purpose of product development, manufacturing, and sales of porous particles, DualPore™ was developed with the support of public funds such as the sophistication support project (supporting business).
